Sunday's
Milonga--One More Birthday!
On last Sunday's milonga, Jan and Chut plus birthday
guests proved that TyT is the best excuse to dress nicely and
celebrate! We are not done with the birthdays yet, as Ruth Kaplan
celebrates her birthday this week at Tango y Té! Please
join us for a slice of cake and tea:
The Sunday Milonga will be on as scheduled:
7:45pm-8:45pm: lesson for intermediate dancers w/ Jan and for
beginners w/ Chut and David
8:45pm-11:30pm: general dancing.
Location: Unified Training Center, at the corner of sw 8th street
and University
Admission fee: usd 10.00 paid at the door--refreshment and sweets
included
Those who don't wish to take the lessons
can come anytime, there is plenty of room to dance without
interfering w/ the lessons.

Leia's week will start early with the free ATA (UF
student club) workshop on Friday.
Two Saturday COZY DINNER MILONGA parties at Thuy;s
house have been added to the schedule (free; $5 donation
is suggested). The milongas will be preceded with a
stand-alone workshop ($20), suitable for those who do not enroll
in Leia's foundations course.
Leia's two weekends long foundations course is designed for the
individual dancers to learn in a short period of time to understand and
improvise their own dance movements.

-Tango Movie Salon Postponed
To accomodate our trip to Tallahassee this Saturday, Ruth has
graciously offered to postpone her Movie Salon. The new date will
be anounced in the near future.
-This Saturday: a Chance
to Meet Alberto and Valorie
Join our small group for a one day trip to Tallahassee, this
Saturday. Alberto and Valorie's three classes on that day focus
on interpreting music. Two sets of Orchestras are differentiated:
D’ARIENZO/BIAGI for one, and DI
SARLI/CALO the other. One or two car seats are left if
you want to join us and travel together (leaving around 11 am)!
