For those who want to learn to feel, understand, and do, "from the inside, out" the happiness of authentic Argentine Tango motion.

We addresses:
-tango posture, balance, and weight transfer
-tango's concept of creating and using body axis
-the principle of initiating motion from the torso
-cadence, as the fundamental element that ties motion to music
-improvisation; connecting flow of motion to the emotion of the music's melody

Tango Study Group meets Thursdays, 6:30pm
It is open to beginners and others who want to improve their foundations of Argentine Tango

On November 21 and 22, 2009 we took classes with the beautiful, classic Graciela Gonzalez!

Sarah, Chut, Thuy, and David went to Miami this weekend to drink from the well of tango understanding, named Graciela Gonzalez.

Graciela is a classic, great. She has now become invaluable to me (David). She has brought crystal clarity to the elusive issue: CONNECTION.

Is connection mental? Is it physical? It is both. But how does it work? What makes a mental thing, physical? Graciela answered the thing that many people consider unanswerable.
