Tango y Té is a weekly dance with free 1 hour instruction of the fundamentals of Argentine Tango. Gainesville's first weekly "Milonga," its objective is to provide a friendly and uplifting atmosphere for social dancing.

Dear Friends,
After a long search we are very happy to announce that we found a spectacular new location for our milonga! We are re-incarnating the Tango y Té MIlonga in this new setting--and I can say without hesitation: this will be the most elegant setting for the milonga that we have used, to date!

Please mark your calendar for our GRAND RE-OPENING, Saturday January 16, 2010. This opening will be a festive event, featuring special surprises--an excellent opportunity to invite family and friends. More details will be announced soon.

I really appreciate all the words of support from members of the tango community, with whom I have shared this news beforehand. Just like everybody else, I have really missed having a regluar milonga, over the past few weeks. Our continuing mission at TyT is to provide an elegant setting for high quality traditional Argentine Tango on a consistent, weekly basis. I hope to see all of you around-and-about the dance floor, SOON!
